Howard J. Eisen received a B.S. and an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics and a B.S. in Physics from M.I.T. He has worked on a variety of missions orbiting the Earth and landing on Mars including the Mars Pathfinder Sojourner Rover, the Mars Exploration Rovers and Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. He is the recipient of the JPL Award for Excellence in Leadership and has twice been awarded the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal. He is currently the Deputy Flight System Manager for Mars Science Laboratory.
