Background Information

I grew up on a farm in Indiana. I was interested in Star Wars and science fiction books. One day my 6th grade teacher asked the best student in the class why he did so well. He replied that he did his homework as soon as he got home each night. I decided to be like him and I am happy I did. Being an engineer is satisfying because it pays well and I feel that I contribute to getting things done.

Contributions to Mars Exploration

I analyzed the structural aspects of the rover solar arrays, the heat rejection system, the airbag retraction actuator, and many other parts attached to the lander and the cruise stage.
